What does it mean to Encounter Jesus?

To Encounter Jesus means that our faith is transformed from just knowing about God to actually knowing Him. God, in His grace, choses to reveal Himself to us. He does this through His Word and through these special moments where He makes Himself real and personal. We call these Encounters. Encounters look different for everyone. Some get overcome by the Holy Spirit, some see visions, some dream dreams, some hear His voice, and some even see Jesus Himself. Whatever your encounters with God look like, they are defining moments in your walk with Christ that can’t be taken lightly.

Our Vision

A single encounter with God cannot be the only thing that sustains a Spirit-filled life. These moments are powerful and life changing but unless there is discipleship, they are not sustainable. Through discipleship we are equipped to steward our encounters with God so that they become something more than just a one time experience. Discipleship without encounters yields little, so does encounters without discipleship. Each generation needs these moments with God. These moments can lead to a life that is full and rewarding that produces the fruit of revival for generations to come.
